IT Technician

Job Description: Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Technician to join their growing academy trust and team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to clients and customers, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring that all IT equipment and systems are running smoothly. You will be responsible for looking after schools in the Stockport, Warrington and Liverpool area being a technical point of contact. Responsibilities/Experience: * Experience of monitoring and maintaining systems and networks * Experience with Installation and configuration of systems * Experience of diagnosing faults on both hardware and software * Experience of solving technical and application issues by phone, email or in person on site * Ability to walk clients/customers through troubleshooting steps * Experience of re-fitting and/or replacing of client hardware * Experience of supporting updates and/or roll-outs for client applications and training of users as needed * Ability to work to SLA's & KPIs * Ability to prioritise and managing workload and projects * Ability to establish good working relationships with clients and customers Skills & Experience: * Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy and Azure AD * Windows Operating Systems 10/11 and Windows Server * Office 365 Administration * Understanding of networking and wireless infrastructure * Experience supporting mobile devices and printers * Understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and WAN/LAN Tech * Full UK Driving License and Car They offer a competitive salary and benefits package, along with the opportunity for career advancement.
