IT Security Engineer

IT Security Engineer required by a leading well-known company based in Stafford.

This is a hybrid role involving at least 1 day a week in the office. There is an expectation to spend more time in the office initially whilst getting settled into the company.

Someone with a strong technical background in systems administration and cloud security (ISO 27001) with proficiency in O365 tools would be a good fit for this position.

Experience required:

• Security Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar
• Expert Cyber Security knowledge - Principals, technologies and best practices
• Experience in managing a third-party SOC function
• Knowledge of SIEM Platforms
• Proven experience in leading incident response efforts, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, and minimising the impact of cybersecurity incidents.
• Strong communication skills.
