Software Developer

Software Developer (Java) | 2x a month onsite | Up to 12% Bonus + Car/Allowance We are looking for a mid-level software developer who is experienced with Java or Jakarta EE / Java EE to join our client's FTSE 100 business. You will be part of a growing team delivering industry leading web and mobile applications. This is a full-stack role but we are interested in hearing from people who have strong experience with Java, particularly Jakarta EE or Spring / Spring Boot. The role will be mostly remote but with some travel, roughly twice a month onsite in Birmingham or Warrington. This opportunity is offering a company car or annual car allowance as well as a generous annual bonus. Role/Responsibilities: Contribute to the development and maintenance of robust applications Understand business requirements and translate to technical specifications Implement new features and functionality Create and maintain technical documentation Contribute to Agile working Ensure future reliability and scalability Skills/Experience: Minimum 3-4 years experience in software development Strong Java serverside experience is essential  Experience with any of the following; Jakarta EE / Java EE / Spring / Spring Boot HTML / CSS Database development e.g. SQL Experience of TypeScript with Angular on the frontend is desirable but not essential  Package: Competitive salary DOE Annual bonus (up to 12%) Company car or car allowance Life assurance Private healthcare 25 days holiday plus bank (rising with service) Hybrid -2x a month onsite This Software Developer vacancy is being handled by Langham Recruitment Ltd.
