IT Project Manager £57,000 - £62,000 + bonus and comprehensive benefits Hybrid / 1 - 2 days a week in Birmingham head office Full Time / Permanent The Role and Company I am looking for an ambitious and experienced IT Project Manager to join a large and well recognised business head quartered in Birmingham. This is a hybrid role with the successful candidate required to be on site 1-2 days per week on average. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of projects and programmes across the breadth of the IT function. Leading project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects to schedule, budget, and quality in line with the agreed project standards. You will ensure successful stakeholder management and engagement through effective communication and project reporting. In addition, you will provide coaching and mentoring support where required and assist in the on-going reviews of the Project Management Methodology and processes. There is a focus on ERP / systems migration and implementation for this role. We are ideally looking for SAP experience however this is not essential and other ERP migration experience is considered. Key Responsibilities Lead projects through the appropriate project lifecycle Manage project teams to ensure effective delivery, setting clear personal objectives and deliverables for each team member. Work with individual teams to ensure they input at an appropriate time to the project, and to ensure that all IT standards are maintained. Create and manage the project plan for individual or multiple projects, on behalf of IT, the project sponsor, and customer. Produce all appropriate project documentation and budget information to the agreed standard. Be responsible for delivery to the agreed project benefits case. Deliver effective communication to stakeholders, project, and steering teams associated with the project. Lead project governance sessions for allocated projects. Be involved in periodic reviews of the IT Portfolio framework. Input into the demand and capacity management lifecycle. ensuring all enhancements and projects including pipeline demand are allocated resources on the resource schedule. Input to Project Management and Office strategy aligning to overall IT strategy Experience & Qualifications Proven IT Project Management experience in a large company environment Any experience of managing a migration to SAP S4 HANA is beneficial but not essential Preferably Prince 2 qualified to Practitioner level or equivalent frameworkModis International Ltd acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers in the UK.
