Data Product Manager - Business Intelligence - Product Delivery - Product Management - Qlik - Tableau - BI - MI - Data Analytics - Data Science - Senior Product Manager
Data Product Manager required to join financial global leader in London. The Data Product Manager will create and drive the growth of the companies Business Intelligence products, including Business Intelligence, Management Information, Macro Economic analytics, and Ad Hoc analytics.
Duties Include:
- Conceive of and create highly scalable products that maximize revenue, create differentiation for the company and support their strategic vision.
- Drive new relationships to make the company products available through their key accounts and through their partners.
- Lead virtual and matrixed teams to achieve the product goals, including the company Data Science team and the company Development team and Portfolio (Project) Management, Service Operations, and the company Operations and Technology team.
- Work closely with Legal and Data Usage to develop products that are consistent with privacy standards as well as commercially viable.
- Generate product feature and function plans (including ideation) with a focus on driving revenue and differentiation.
- Patent inventions that drive value creation in the product.
Skills Required:
- Previous responsibility for product development and ongoing product management; proactively enhancing products to maintain value and relevance.
- Experience managing products in the BI and MI space. Experience in engaging with 3rd party tools like Qlik, Tableau or open source equivalents.
- Experience in bringing a product to market including product strategy, product positioning, go-to-market strategy, sales training, and differentiation.
- Product P&L responsibility.
- Experience in Product Management in the data space, preferably within a Credit Reference Agency, Business Information Provider, bank, social media, or other web company.
- Experience in a start-up environment.
- Proven track record working with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding new products when key performers report to supporting teams.
- Demonstrated influencing and persuasion skills.
- Client facing engagements & communication skills.
- Ability to work with sales and marketing to achieve revenue goals.
- Strong technical and technology skills.
- Experience with engaging with Agile development teams.
- A professional approach to their work and a can-do' attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the desire to take full ownership of projects.
