We are seeking a highly skilled Linux System Administrator to join our dynamic team in Solihull. If you have a strong background in Linux systems, hands-on AWS experience, and possess the necessary security clearances, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Linux-based systems to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security. Implement and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, and other AWS services. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Collaborate with development and IT teams to integrate new technologies and solutions. Maintain and manage backups, perform regular system updates, and ensure data integrity. Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, including those related to SC and NPPV3 clearances. Essential Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator in a professional environment. Strong background in AWS cloud services and infrastructure management. SC Clearance and NPPV3 clearance are mandatory. Expertise in system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and automation. Excellent understanding of networking, security, and system integration. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Desirable Skills: Familiarity with additional cloud platforms or DevOps tools is a plus. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
