Over view: · Scope out the migration initially and then work closely with the client to lead the end-to-end migration process from mainframe environments to bespoke cloud architecture. · Architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing IT infrastructure. · Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering deep technical insight and strategic recommendations for cloud adoption. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, cloud engineers, and operations to deliver robust cloud services and software suites. · Engage directly with clients, conducting workshops, presentations, and consultations to understand business needs and craft tailored cloud strategies. · Ensure alignment of cloud solutions with industry standards, security protocols, and best practices. · Continuously innovate and optimize cloud migration methodologies to improve efficiency and client satisfaction. · Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges during the transition from legacy systems to cloud platforms. · Knowledge of mainframe technologies (e.g., COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2) and cloud-based equivalents. · Experience in the financial, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries is a plus. · Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies.
