Senior Software Engineer Location: Dorchester, Dorset UK - IN PERSON/ Hybrid Permanent role   We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer for our long established Client in the Dorchester area.  Key responsibilities: Architecting and leading the development of high-quality, medium-large scale control software applications in LabVIEW for the integration into electromechanical ultrasonic measurement and test systems. Providing mentorship to members of the Software & Systems team to enhance their proficiency in advanced LabVIEW skills. Capturing and refining complex software requirements for client facing projects (e.g. UMS, UMSI). Providing technical product support to Clients. Collaborating with internal departments troubleshooting and resolving issues, as well as innovating new features.  Writing technical software documentation (e.g. user guides, design documents). The Ideal candidate will hold a Degree in a STEM discipline, have experience designing applications involving hardware integration in LabVIEW, experience working within a scrum framework as part of an agile implementation, experience working with source code control, specifically Git. In addition we are looking for someone with strong communication and teamwork skill who is motivated to improve every day.
