Cloud Security Engineer | Manchester, Hybrid | £65,000-£75,000 - Endpoint, Intune, Azure AD About the Role: A world-leading professional services busienss is seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to secure and maintain its critical cloud infrastructure. This role will be integral in safeguarding Microsoft Endpoint, Intune, and Azure Active Directory environments, ensuring seamless and secure access for the firm’s global workforce. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in cloud security and a deep understanding of Microsoft’s cloud security ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: * Endpoint Security Management: Configure, manage, and secure Microsoft Endpoint and Intune environments to support endpoint security across the firm. * Identity and Access Management: Implement and manage Azure AD to ensure robust identity and access controls for all users, applications, and resources. * Security Monitoring and Response: Continuously monitor cloud environments, identify potential security threats, and respond proactively to incidents. * Security Policies and Compliance: Collaborate with internal teams to establish and enforce security policies, ensuring compliance with global standards and regulations. * Incident Handling and Remediation: Conduct regular security assessments, investigate security alerts, and implement solutions for identified vulnerabilities. * Automation and Optimisation: Develop automation for security processes within the cloud environment to improve efficiency and response times. Required Technical Skills: * Proven experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Azure Active Directory (AAD), and MS Endpoint Security. * Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices in an enterprise environment. * Proficiency in automation scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI) for operational efficiency. * Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and zero-trust security. * Experience with security monitoring tools (SIEM solutions) and incident response.
