IT Manager Wellingborough Salary to £52k Our client, a prominent full-service provider in repair, logistics, and engineering solutions, is expanding and seeking an experienced IT Manager to join their brand-new site in Wellingborough. Serving major network operators and manufacturers across Europe and beyond, this role offers the chance to shape the IT infrastructure of a dynamic and rapidly growing company with a global reach. Role Overview In this hands-on role, the IT Manager will take ownership of local IT services, infrastructure, and support. Working with the IT team and supporting European users, you will drive continuous improvements in IT service quality, optimise support processes, and ensure the security and scalability of the network. This is a unique opportunity for an IT leader to make a lasting impact on our client's state-of-the-art facility and work closely with the international IT team to elevate IT standards across the business. Key Responsibilities: Manage IT service providers and suppliers to ensure optimised support delivery Oversee helpdesk operations, coaching IT team members to provide first-rate support Develop and implement solutions to continuously improve service and streamline processes Support the European service desk, addressing and tracking support requests Maintain and optimise Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Expand and advance IT infrastructure, including networking, telephony, and IT systems Monitor and assign support tickets to ensure timely resolution Conduct system audits and routine network safety and security checks Manage IT projects and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Maintain service documentation and provide technical training to teams Support hardware and software troubleshooting, installations, and updatesAbout you ...
