IC Resources is seeking a Senior SLAM Research Engineer to join our client's team in Oxford. The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge spatial AI solutions, contributing to the development and enhancement of 3D localisation and mapping technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop 3D localisation and mapping algorithms

Develop real-time software in C++

Essential Experience:

PhD with post-doc research in Robot Perception, SLAM or related, or coming with an MSc and several years’ industry experience developing SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping) systems for robots, vehicles or sensor systems.

Proficiency in C++, Python, and ROS.

Experience with LiDAR, vision sensors, GPS, or IMUs.

Solid understanding of SLAM and Spatial AI algorithms and tools, including neural network training and 3D reconstruction techniques like meshes or NeRF.
