Role & Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of accounting policies and regulatory reporting standards.
* Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and IFRS accounting
* Manage and guide financial analysis and reporting processes to adhere to legal regulations and company policies.
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver accurate financial statements and business insights.
* Review changes in accounting regulations and standards, advising management on necessary actions to remain compliant.
* Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, enhancing their skills and ensuring quality in reporting.
Key Skills
* Profound knowledge and expertise in Statutory Reporting and IFRS 17 Accounting
* Must have prior knowldge of working within the UK Insurance Market, either within in industry or consultancy.
* Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to interpret and implement accounting standards and regulations.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial information clearly and concisely.
* Proactive in identifying issues and delivering efficient solutions.
