We are partnering with a global manufacturing company based in Glasgow city centre, renowned for its industry-leading innovations and operations across multiple continents. This role is pivotal at their headquarters, focusing on managing IT operations and leading a team of IT professionals. IT Team Lead Glasgow/Hybrid £40,000 - £45,000 Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and technical expertise. Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring the efficient delivery of IT services and support across the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into IT strategies and solutions. Manage IT projects, including system upgrades, infrastructure enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and industry standards, implementing best practices. Monitor and manage IT budgets, optimizing spending and cost-efficiency. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the IT team, fostering innovation and operational excellence. Periodically travel to other company sites to oversee IT operations and support local teams.Tech Stack and Requirements: Proven experience in a leadership role within an IT department, preferably in manufacturing or a related industry. Strong technical background with hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, and project management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
