Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field User Support Specialist with expertise in the Microsoft stack. The ideal candidate will provide on-site technical support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of their systems and applications. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide on-site technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Microsoft software and systems, including Windows OS, Office 365, and other Microsoft applications.
* Assist users with hardware and software installations, configurations, and upgrades, ensuring all devices are properly connected and operational.
* Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, ensuring seamless access to corporate resources.
* Provide training and guidance to end-users on best practices for using Microsoft software and tools.
* Document support activities, issues, and resolutions in the helpdesk system.
* Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement improvements to the support process.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in a field support capacity.
* Strong proficiency with most common end user software, namely Microsoft technologies, including Windows OS, Office 365.
* Experience with network troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
* Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* NATO SECRET security clearance - or available to do the accreditation process with us.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with ITIL practices.
* Experience supporting mobile devices and remote access solutions.
