DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Platform Engineer who will be responsible for deploying, configuring and operating IT Infrastructure platforms hosted on offshore & shore locations. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the planning, implementation and optimisation of the technologies & processes used to maintain infrastructure platforms, encompassing, hypervisors, data storage, installing, testing or decommissioning and removing, systems or system components * Lead, guide and mentor a team of engineers and act as an escalation point for colleagues across the technology department * Develop standards and guidelines * Ensure that operational procedures and documentation are fit for purpose and kept up to date * Investigate and manage the adoption of tools, techniques and process for the management of systems and services. Skills & Experienced Required * Experience with automation platforms, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet or Chef. * Experience of Cloud technologies - AWS/Azure/GCP. * Worked extensively with Kubernetes * Experienced within Agile ways of working, Kanban and Scrum. * Experience of VMware vSphere, Nutanix or Hyper V virtualisation platforms. * Experience in Microsoft or Linux operating systems To arrange an initial interview please apply today
