DevOps Engineer | Entertainment / Games | 55K – 65K | Fully Remote  We’re thrilled to be hiring a DevOps Engineer for a expanding entertainment studio based in London. Our client has quickly established itself as a key player, with their platform already surpassing a million downloads. As they continue to grow, they are expanding both the variety of content and the tools supporting user-generated experiences on their platform As part of the Live Operations Team, you’ll manage cloud and build infrastructure while helping to scale live operations across the business. Key Responsibilities: Manage and monitor scalable cloud services for peak performance. Work with diverse technology infrastructures to implement improvements for scalability and growth (focus on managed cloud services and Unity3D). Develop automation solutions for streamlined deployment, monitoring, and health checks. Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for core cloud environments. Maintain existing services, applying patches and security updates. Implement backup solutions and disaster recovery plans. Promote DevOps practices across the team, ensuring game health monitoring. Mentor team members in DevOps best practices. Assist in developing an out-of-hours policy for live platform incidents. Act as the first-line responder for any infrastructure issues.Experience & Skills: 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role, supporting live/online products or web-based services (SaaS, Entertainment, Streaming, Software, Gaming). Experience with live operations or gaming is a plus but not essential. Hands-on experience with managed services in GCP, Azure, or AWS (Google Cloud Platform preferred but not required). Proficiency with at least one DevOps build pipeline tool (e.g., Bitbucket Pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Solid understanding of Docker and comfortable in Linux terminal environments. Scripting or programming experience. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience interacting with senior stakeholders and external clients. Previous work with mobile deployments or web connectivity (games or otherwise) is a bonus.
