Data Engineer

Data Engineer With a family feel and beautiful offices, this successful FTSE-listed company is looking for a Data Engineer with strong skills and experience in SQL Server, Power BI and Data Warehousing (SCD Slowly Changing Dimension or cubes of a time-series nature), and API integration.    You will have the opportunity to be mentored and work closely with the group's Data Engineering Lead and Solutions Architect. You will also interact with teams across the business and occasionally travel to France and Germany.   As the Data and Systems Analyst, you will analyse and interpret complex data and develop and maintain systems that underpin the group's core business processes and decision-making. Joining mid-way through a Europe-wide digital transformation, this is a great time to make a significant impact through process/data analysis, systems implementation and project management. Essential skills: SQL Server including T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, triggers, writing ad-hoc queries and dynamic SQL Microsoft Power BI Slowly Changing Dimensions (or cubes of a time-series nature) Microsoft Power Automate (or other API platform integration) Computing degree Hybrid role based 4 days a week in a state-of-the-art, modern office in Vauxhall (with an onsite gym) and 1 day at home    Desirable experience: Power Apps JIRA SharePoint ETL Tools (Azure Data Factory, SSIS) DAX Azure A package of over £50k includes a bonus, study costs and leave, hybrid (1 day/week at home, generous pension, 28 days holiday, private medical and permanent health cover, onsite gym and more!
