My Client is a leading telecommunications organization seeking a talented ServiceNow CMDB Professional to join their dynamic team. You will be responsible for driving the implementation and maintenance of the ServiceNow ITOM suite, including Asset, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with expertise in ServiceNow and a passion for configuration management.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
- Implement and customize the ServiceNow ITOM suite, including Asset, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- Maintain and ensure the integrity of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and related system documentation.
- Plan and conduct audits on the CMDB, ensuring alignment with the IT infrastructure and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the customer to meet requirements, ensuring CMDB accuracy and producing management reports.
- Support and provide executive assistance to the Configuration Management Board (CMB), including scheduling meetings, developing agendas, and resolving issues.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot any problems related to the CMDB and related discovery tools.
- Work on the implementation, operation, and maintenance of CMDB products and tools, both agent-based and agentless.
- Collaborate with teams to implement configuration management plans and drive process improvements.
- Ensure that all Configuration Items (CIs) and associated assets are properly identified, maintained, and documented.
- Identify complex issues, develop solutions, and take corrective actions when necessary.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Strong experience in ServiceNow development, integration, and customization.
- Proficiency in implementing the ServiceNow ITOM suite with a focus on CMDB, Asset, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- Solid understanding of Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and CMDB concepts.
- Experience in CI discovery tools, both agent-based and agentless, and their integration with CMDB.
- Ability to plan, schedule, and perform audits on the CMDB and correct issues as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in process improvement.
- Familiarity with ITOM - Discovery, Service Mapping and related tools.
