Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity in 2025? Howdens Joinery are looking for an experienced Lead Developer with Sitecore experience to join our intelligent digital development team to start beginning of January 2025. What you will be doing: With the option to work 100% remotely you will report to the Software Delivery Manager and will likely be an experienced developer who is looking for the next step in their career. As a hands-on Lead Developer with Sitecore experience, you’ll steer a growing team of developers in producing a high quality, industry leading technology solution and your technical leadership will help us see projects through from inception to delivery. You will work closely with the architecture function to define and implement the roadmap to support our business initiatives. What we need from you: • Sitecore experience • Experience within C# .Net Development /Full-Stack Development and have worked on technical projects from inception through to delivery • Familiarity with Azure cloud platform • Experience of CI/CD Implementations i.e. Azure DevOps • Experience of Scalable Agile Framework (SAFe) v5.0 an advantage • .NET using C# 4.0 or higher • .NET Core 1.0 or higher • Visual Studio 2013 or higher • Microsoft LINQ • Relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle • Front-End scripting (e.g. JavaScript, SASS, Angular JS) • Database design, programming (SQL) and query optimisation • Source control: TFS / GIT / VSTS • Working on technical projects from inception through to delivery • Good understanding of unit testing frameworks and test coverage (Experience of automated Testing using a variety of MS Test, xUnit, Jet Brains, Selenium and Moq would be useful) • Demonstrable experience of object-oriented design patterns, code refactoring and awareness of SOLID principles • Commercial experience using the MVC pattern • Good exposure and understanding of Web services using Restful APIs • Experience with .NET content management systems, preferably Sitecore What we can offer you • Basic salary and annual company bonus • Excellent pension scheme (company contribution of up to 12%) • 25 days holiday + bank holidays with the option to buy additional days • Staff Discount • Employee Assistance Programme • Exceptional Reward and Recognition events About Howdens: Howdens Joinery is the UK’s number one trade kitchen supplier providing thousands of products across kitchens, joinery, and hardware.
