Job Title: AWS Test Engineer
Location: Central London

Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced AWS Test Engineer to manage a critical project for one of our biggest clients in the banking domain. In this role, you will focus on ensuring the quality and performance of AWS-hosted applications, provisioning test environments on AWS, and using both manual and automated testing strategies. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* AWS Application Testing: Conduct both manual and automated testing on applications hosted on AWS.
* Test Environment Management: Provision and manage test environments on AWS to ensure seamless deployment and testing.
* Automation Testing: Develop and execute automated tests using tools such as Selenium and frameworks like Cucumber for BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
* API Testing: Validate REST API services using JMeter, Postman, SoapUI, and RestAssured to ensure proper integration and functionality.
* Containerization: Leverage tools like Docker and Kubernetes for managing containerized test environments.
* Build Tools: Work with build tools such as Maven for continuous integration and automation in testing environments.
* Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and DevOps engineers, to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Essential Skills:
* AWS Testing Expertise: Experience testing applications hosted on AWS and managing AWS cloud test environments.
* Automation Tools: Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium and frameworks like Cucumber.
* API Testing Tools: Hands-on experience with Postman, SoapUI, RestAssured, and JMeter for validating APIs.
* Containerization Knowledge: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized test environments.
* Build Automation: Experience using build tools like Maven to support automated test workflows.
