Title: Senior Java Engineer Location: London Salary: £60K+ Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Engineer (Java) to join their busy software development team to work closely with the architect and the team on a variety of projects The responsibilities for the Senior Java Engineer role include: * Performing coding assignments which provide reusable, testable and efficient code. * Designing and implementing low latency, high availability and performant applications. * Integration of data storage solutions. * Implementation of security and data protection. * Reviewing code work for accuracy and functionality * Creating and implementing design plans. * Analysing code segments regularly. * Creation of APIs. * Effective delegation to team members. * Plan multiple projects simultaneously. * Estimate, track and complete projects on time and within budget/estimation. * Ability to understand the development required to enable the design requirements to be delivered. * Adept at creating coherent storyboards for consideration and approval by the Architectural Review Board. For the Senior Java Engineer role you will need: * Have a strong level of experience and expertise in Java, * Ability to lead the development and integration work with a team of developers and will be responsible for oversight of the development team. * Demonstrate great skills in creativity and innovation * An ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and possess excellent communication skills. * Strong experience in Agile software development using JavaScript * Keep up to date with deadlines and have strong numeracy and analytical skills. * Adept with use of MySQL and various development tools For more information regarding the Senior Java Engineer role, please contact Luigi
