About my client: An owner-lead, profitable scaleup with offices across the world in the HR software space with over 200 employees.

Role Overview: We are seeking either a hands-on Senior or a Lead Developer with a strong background in Ruby. In this role, you will work with a talented team of developers, drive the development of high-quality software solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the future of our technology stack and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of developers, providing guidance and support. (optional)
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Ruby applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security through best practices and code reviews.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
• Mentor and coach junior developers to enhance their skills and career growth.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior/Lead Developer with expertise in Ruby.
• Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
• Experience with Front End technologies (eg, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
