Job Title: 1st Line Support Engineer Location: Macclesfield Applause IT are hiring for a 1st Line Support Engineer for a growing technology solutions provider. This company specialises in delivering IT services, from technical support to strategic consulting, with a focus on excellent customer service. The 1st Line Support Engineer will be responsible for offering initial support to clients, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of technical issues across various platforms and systems. Responsibilities: Provide first-line technical support for Microsoft technologies, including Windows 10, Mac client operating systems, and Windows Server (2012 R2 onwards). Diagnose and troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues, including DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing. Administer and troubleshoot Office 365 workloads such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. Support hardware and software fault diagnosis for clients. Configure mobile devices and assist with VoIP solution support.Desirable Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Services and cyber security support. Hands-on experience with managing routers, switches, and access points. Microsoft certifications and experience in an MSP environment.Benefits: Company-provided laptop and home office setup if required. Paid Microsoft Exams.
