Project Manager Salary: £66248 to £69735 Location: Farringdon This role for Project Manager within Development is a 15 month FTC covering maternity  We are looking for someone to join the team who will Project manage remedial works from Start on Site through to completion on existing buildings owned by MTVH and ensuring full compliance with all contractual requirements and MTVH Standards. This person will need to ensure that Quality of Design, Construction and Service standards are at the forefront of all development activity. Some of the Key responsibilities: Ensure all scheme costs are kept under strict control and recorded properly with all transactions checked and confirmed before being authorised. Monitor any contract variations and highlight any changes and implications to the Head of Remediation. Ensure all consultants are appointed correctly and all contracts and agreements are executed in accordance with Standing Orders. Check all invoices and payment certificates and ensure they are correct and accurate before allowing them to be approved. Ensure that cashflows are regularly updated and exercise excellent budgetary control over development schemes, reporting variances where necessary. Experience we're looking for: Degree qualified, ideally in a related field APM (PMQ) qualification desirable At least five years proven track record delivering complex multi tenure schemes or remedial works, on time and budget Excellent communication skills Strong intellect with the ability to analyse and act upon complex financial and non-financial information and reach speedy well-formed conclusions. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills. Good knowledge of Building Regulations and Building Control. Good understanding of fire safety and passive fire measures. Membership or working towards membership of a professional body, i.e. RICS, MCIOB, APM.
