Information Assurance Manager - South West

Information Security Professional Location: Hybrid South West - 1 day per week on site About the Role Our client is seeking an ambitious Information Assurance Manager to deliver critical security and data protection services. The role involves supporting both internal teams and external clients across various sectors. Key Responsibilities Provide advice and guidance on all aspects of information security and assurance. Implement and maintain security management processes in line with ISO 27001. Support internal and external audits, ensuring continuous improvement in security practices. Work with public sector security standards, including Cyber Essentials Plus, NHS DSPT, and PCI DSS. Perform risk management activities, internal audits, and supplier due diligence. Assist with secure design and change management processes. Lead and support security incident response efforts for clients. Collaborate with project teams to address security and compliance challenges. Oversee vulnerability management initiatives for client teams.Requirements Strong experience in information security management, including governance, risk, and compliance. Expertise in security risk management and technical security controls. Familiarity with incident response and data protection compliance. Excellent communication skills with a client-focused mindset. Willingness to travel monthly to the Guernsey office.Desirable Skills Experience within the UK public sector, including government or healthcare. Familiarity with technologies such as Azure, Microsoft 365, and AlienVault. Relevant certifications like CISM, CISSP, or CCSP.
