Technical) Warehouse Supervisor – Telford - Permanent L & C Consulting are recruiting for a Technical Warehouse Supervisor / Team Leader / Senior Technical Operative to join and help lead a small team of Warehouse Technicians within a stable warehouse and technical team. This new post will suit a reliable, hardworking and flexible individual and offer promotion prospects and plenty of overtime. As well as the ability to lead the small team on a day to day basis, you will also be able to demonstrate a high level of IT / AV / technical understanding. This is a permanent position, 09:00 – 17:30,Mon – Fri but with overtime so you will need to be flexible on your working hours at times. Reporting into a Warehouse Manager, your duties will include (but not be limited to): * Run a small team of technicians and warehouse operatives, including allocating work, checking work, monitoring attendance etc * Support in responding to incoming technical calls * Liaise with various internal departments * Liaise with customers directly by phone and email in regard to order requirements and details * Ensure loads are despatched on time, safely and securely * Controlling Goods In and Goods Out * Responsible for the quality checking and preparation scheduling of orders leaving the warehouse. * Check despatch / products are accurate * Process relevant paperwork You MUST have a high level of technical / IT Hardware / AV understanding as the work you will be undertaking and allocating is of a highly technical nature. Previous warehouse team leader / supervisory experience is also ideal, but the technical elements are more important. You will also have a stable, consistent work history and need to be physically fit due to the hands on nature of the role. It is an extremely clean warehouse environment, and uniform and safety shoes are provided after the probation period.
