Engineering Program Manager

Role: Engineering Program Manager Location: Hybrid (Remote/Maidenhead) 2 Days a week on site mandatory. Rate: £(Apply online only) outside IR35 Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension) We are currently seeking a seasoned Engineering Program Manager to join a dynamic and innovative SaaS company. As they continue their scale-up journey, this is an opportunity to lead technical teams across multiple regions and deliver highly scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone with experience managing offshore teams, a strong technical background, and a passion for delivering mobile-first solutions. Essential Skills and Experience: Proven experience in SaaS product management minimum Background in software development, particularly in Java, data management, and security Leadership experience working with international and offshore teams  Expertise in building and delivering scalable solutions in a global environment Experience with mobile app development (iOS & Android), with a focus on Flutter/Dart Front-end knowledge (Angular) and back-end experience (Java) Familiarity with data management systems such as MySQL, MariaDB, and MongoDB Proven ability to lead teams, streamline processes, and align with product teams across different time zones Experience working with large-scale applications and driving product innovation through AI advancements Comfortable with occasional travel (2-3 times per year) to international offices  Responsibilities: Own and manage the technical roadmap in alignment with the product team Lead a cross-functional team across QA, Development, Data, and DevOps, ensuring timely delivery of highly scalable mobile and web solutions Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple time zones  Drive innovation and enhance team productivity through AI integration Ensure the development of scalable infrastructure to support thousands of customers across 80 countries. Oversee and manage mobile-first strategies, ensuring optimal performance on both iOS and Android platforms Maintain close collaboration with the product teams and engineering team  Act as a key leader in restructuring and building processes for continued company growth and innovation Minimum Requirements: 10+ years of experience in a similar role within a SaaS environment Strong technical foundation in Java, data management, and mobile app development Experience working with globally distributed teams, with the ability to communicate effectively across regions Immediate availability Right to work in the UK, with a willingness to attend the Maidenhead office 2 days a week If you are interested in this role, please submit your CV and contact James Knight on (phone number removed).
