Harvey Nash have partnered exclusively with the University of Leeds to recruit a DevOps Lead. This role is a key component of the digital transformation underway as they look to deliver exceptional DevOps, Cloud services, and Integrations for their technical and development teams.
The university has set out an ambitious plan to enhance student education, research, and corporate systems through increased use of technology, data, and digital approaches as part of the new strategy.
As the DevOps Lead, you will be play a leading role in establishing the DevOps vision and strategy for the university in line with the university's goals, establishing a roadmap for the adoption and scaling of DevOps practices across the university, setting up the foundational infrastructure for this business area such as the tools, source control, CI/CD pipelines etc.
This is an incredibly exciting role and a unique opportunity for someone to drive significant, enterprise wide change and in doing so ensure that the university continues to be cutting edge.
Experience of interest:
Greenfield experience in building DevOps practices in an Azure environment. Strong experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps and automating the provisioning and management of resources in the cloud.
CI/CD Pipeline implementation using Azure DevOps, automating environments for speed and reliability.
Experience supporting teams using Azure Integration Services such as Azure Functions, LogicApps, and API-Management would be beneficial
Strong communication skills and ability to work with key stakeholders across a business to deliver effective solutions, working with members in the team to upskill and develop their understanding of DevOps.
