As a Cloud Infrastructure Technical Analyst you will be accountable for for the availability, reliability, maintenance and service operation of the IT cloud infrastructure services that underpin the application landscape to agreed Service Levels, considering the commercial implications to ensure efficient service offering. Key Responsibilities   Accountable for support, maintenance, availability, proactive monitoring and optimal use of Cadent’s Cloud environment. Provide technical assurance for the Cadent AWS tenant managed by our service provider. Accountable for providing technical assurance and insight during high priority incidents and problem management related to IT services, validating root cause analysis reports, corrective actions and delivering rectification plans Provide expertise and input into the development, management, maintenance, and promotion of the IT Maintenance Roadmap, owned by the PLAN team. Accountable for the patching process and monthly/quarterly/ad-hoc delivery Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve instance, software, and network related cloud issues. Accountable for standards, processes, playbooks, and framework documents to set clear expectations and controls for the AWS environment. Application of the Well-Architected Framework for AWS services and associated best practices and promote the use of native tools. Manage a continuous integration and deployment methodology for server-based technologies Work alongside the Technical Strategy and Solution Delivery functions to design and implement scalable software services. Ensure necessary system security by using best in class cloud security solutions Accountable for the development and implementation of maintenance policies for IT services, ensuring that any subsequent maintenance plans are aligned to vendor roadmaps/lifecycles. Ensure disaster recovery (DR) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are in place and regularly tested as part of the DR Plan. Accountable for reviewing Availability and capacity reports and making recommendations and implementing improvements. Skills and Experience   Educated to degree level in computing or similar discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training (with vendor certification), and experience. Minimum AWS Associate level qualification, Professional preferred. Azure administrator certification. Extensive experience in IT, with strong experience in a second/ third line support role in medium to large company, with significant technical delivery/ support responsibility. Deep technical knowledge to “Expert” level of subject matter. A solid understanding of DevOps in a cloud environment. ITIL Foundation (minimum). Experience with agile development methodologies, inc. SAFe framework Experience of working in an agile product-centric environment and agile/matrix managed multi-disciplinary technology teams, including understanding of agile methodologies. Experience and understanding of Agile, SCRUM and Prince2 methodology. Experience in the use of Atlassian products: Jira and Confluence and integrated products such as Miro. Experience of configuring, implementing, developing, and supporting complex solutions. Evidence of vendor/ stakeholder management qualities. Experience of supporting mission critical systems, with a good knowledge of system technologies, monitoring tools, processes and incident handling in a 24x7x365 support environment. Excellent written and verbal communications. Communicates with internal teams at all organisational levels and third-party providers.
