PIC lead

A fantastic opportunity for a Photonic integrated Circuit (PIC) Design Lead to join an exciting team in Oxford. This PIC Lead would be expected to lead the design team with their experience in the field of Silicon Photonics and report directly to the Head of Photonics.

Requirements: 

• A proven track record working in the industry with Silicon PICs.
• Able to support the modelling and characterization to optimize the PDK.
• Experience with PIC Design with simulations in Lumerical FDTD or similar simulation tools.
• Experience in designing and developing passive and active components.
• Ability to work between multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in strategic planning and aiding in technology road mapping.
• Able to relocate to or access the site in Oxford.If you have experience in the above, please make this clear in your CV.
