UAT Tester

UAT Tester 3-Month Initial Contract Outside IR35 3 days on site in Havant My client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented UAT Tester to join the team towards the end of our Finance Project. This project involves transitioning our financial services from a third-party provider to TechnologyOne. The UAT Tester will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation and functionality of the new system. Key Responsibilities: User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Conduct thorough UAT to ensure the new TechnologyOne system meets all functional and business requirements Test Planning: Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and user stories. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution and retesting. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, and end-users to understand requirements and provide feedback. Reporting: Generate comprehensive test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders, highlighting any risks or issues. Training Support: Assist in the development of user training materials and provide support during user training sessions. Compliance: Ensure all testing activities comply with council policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience in UAT, preferably within the public sector or finance projects. Technical Skills: Familiarity with TechnologyOne or similar ERP systems is highly desirable. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
