Title: Experienced Contracts Manager Required for Offshore Wind Project in Hartlepool Introductory Paragraph: We are currently seeking an experienced contracts specialist to work on the change management role of a major offshore wind project based in Hartlepool. The successful candidate will have extensive EPC/ construction experience and be able to hit the ground running. This is a contract position offering a rate of £500/ day. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering, law, business or related field - Relevant industry certifications such as CIPS/ NEC3/ 4 would be beneficial but not essential Must - EPC/ Construction experience - Contract and commercial experience - Change Management experience (+ 5 years) - Background: quantity surveyor, contracts, engineering, similar - English fluent/ native - Location: UK/ EU - Full Proactivity - Works well cross-functionally - Comfortable working in complex projects - Able to travel to the North of England and France Skills: Change Management Our client requires someone with excellent Change Management skills who can oversee all aspects associated with changes including identifying potential risks and issues that may arise throughout projects; developing risk mitigation strategies where appropriate; tracking progress against agreed-upon timelines while ensuring adherence to budgets at every stage. Commercial Awareness Candidates must possess strong commercial awareness which includes understanding contractual arrangements within large construction projects whilst maintaining compliance across multiple suppliers/ vendors/ subcontractors etc., effectively managing costs through negotiation processes. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Skills The ability to communicate complex technical information clearly both verbally and written form is crucial when dealing with various stakeholders involved throughout different stages of this type project - from planning right up until completion/ maintenance phases. Stakeholders include senior executives/ board members internally along other external parties e.g regulators/ government bodies/ local communities affected by these types developments.
