Join our client’s team as the Systems Database Manager You will play a pivotal role in supporting the entire business by ensuring all software systems operate smoothly and efficiently. This is a permanent full time Monday - Friday position. The company offers a very competitive salary plus excellent non salaried benefits. This position involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including trusted suppliers, to optimise the businesses software systems. Knowledge of PCIDSS compliance and BACS accreditation is highly beneficial. The company work with a broad range of software providers including Microsoft, Access, Adobe, Box, Dotdigital, Eventbrite, Naviga, Myriad, Exact Editions and Mag Cloner to name a few. Key responsibilities: * Maintain and support software systems, including diagnostics, fault finding, and liaising with external suppliers, including integrations between software solutions. * Oversee software upgrades, ensuring thorough testing, DPIA where necessary and smooth deployment. * Perform general database administration tasks, including performance monitoring, data integrity, disaster recovery, and security. * Manage centralised cyber awareness, GDPR & PCIDSS training. * Provide guidance and support to end users through the internal ticketing systems. * Support software Super User groups ensuring implementation of latest innovations and best practice. * Collaborate on maintaining business resilience and continuity plans, including regular testing. * Maintain accurate documentation, training manuals and procedure guides to support all the compliance obligations. * Work with cross-functional teams to streamline technical workflows and enhance productivity. * Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in data protection, PCIDSS compliance and cyber security. Skills required: * Proven experience in IT software or systems support or a related role with a strong background in Information Technology. * An understanding of PCIDSS compliance, BACS compliance and data protection. * A high proficiency in using all Microsoft systems and a proactive approach to learning new software. * Strong Microsoft SQL Server skills. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
