OUTSIDE IR35 - 12 MONTH CONTRACT - JANUARY 1ST 2025 START - HYBRID WORKING

We are looking for SAP Planning Lead to join one of our clients based in London.

They Must be an expert in Microsoft Project and JIRA with experience working on a large and complex SAP Programme ideally in FMCG

  • Developing and taking ownership of project schedules from project standards, plan development and detailed progress tracking and plan reporting
  • Reviewing, advising and making recommendations on contractual requirements specifically relating to schedule and progress monitoring
  • Maintaining, updating and monitoring of progress on project schedules, including production of internal planning status reports
  • Managing preparation and issue of schedule impact assessments/summaries as identified by the Project Manager for incorporation in internal project changes and external variation orders
  • Supporting Project Manager during internal and external meetings to proactively drive schedule discussions & present material accordingly
  • Implementing "early warning" identification of potential schedule issues
  • Identifying and communicating risk' relating to all schedules produced

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Expert in Project Planning software including MS Project & JIRA
  • Have been involved in a minimum of 3 SAP programme delivery life cycles
  • Defined and manage planning standards, dashboards and reporting across a global programme
  • Have experience in Managing Project Planning across global programmes
  • Have good proficiency with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel
  • Have sound oral and written communication skills
  • Have sound interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence others and lead a small team of planners
  • Support project manager sin the creation and management of plans
  • Strategic planning: Oversee the strategic planning process to ensure that projects and initiatives align with the organization's goals
  • Data analysis: Analyze data, trends, and market insights to create forecasts and plans
  • Project management: Have excellent project management skills and be able to prioritize workloads and juggle competing demands
  • Communication: Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively about plans with their team
  • Leadership: Have leadership skills to lead discussions surrounding a particular project and manage teams effectively
  • Problem solving: Have problem-solving skills to work through problems that come up
