Job Start date: ASAP Shift Pattern: Days, 8:30am – 5pm We’re supporting our client, a global leading technology company based in Manchester, who are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join their growing team. The successful Technical Support Engineer will ideally have industry experience in the Automation sector OR Qualified to NVQ / HND / HNC / Degree level in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. We are looking for a skilled PLC or SCADA engineer to join our Technical Support team. This role will suit someone from a Maintenance / Controls / Engineering / Electrical / PLC background, who is looking to move into an office based environment. Responsibilities for Technical Support Engineer: * Provide telephone, email and remote diagnostic support for our partners and customers. * Apply knowledge and questioning techniques to identify, diagnose and resolve customers’ problems. * Co-ordinate issues requiring escalation to headquarters. * Enhance the quality of service delivered to customers. * The successful candidate would be part of a strong dedicated team.
