IT Manager

Are you a hands-on IT Manager looking for your next challenge within a small SME? We are seeking an IT Manager for our client, a growing company that values technical expertise and a can-do attitude. You will be instrumental in managing all aspects of the IT function, both proactively and reactively, ensuring the business runs smoothly. About the Role: As the IT Manager, you'll be the go-to technical expert responsible for overseeing and maintaining all IT operations, from everyday troubleshooting and user support to leading critical projects. Working in a Windows-based environment, you'll manage everything from network security and telephony to on-prem and cloud infrastructure (Azure). You'll be the sole IT presence in the business, so the ability to work independently and communicate confidently with both internal and external stakeholders is essential. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain networks, telephony, and applications. Oversee both on-premises and cloud infrastructure (Azure). Handle security and incident management to protect company data. Lead and execute IT projects, including process automation and cost reduction. Provide hands-on support, from fixing everyday issues to driving long-term IT strategy. Key Requirements: A versatile IT professional who is just as comfortable crawling under a desk to fix cables as they are leading high-impact projects. Strong experience with Windows environments and Microsoft operating systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach. The ability to work independently and communicate effectively across all levels. Additional Information: This role is fully office-based, so candidates must live within a commutable distance to Basingstoke.
