Full-Stack Developer with UI/UX Expertise (Remote/Hybrid)

Company Overview: CIM Global LTD are developers of the Carbon Impact Model (CIM)—an online platform dedicated to helping businesses track and reduce their carbon footprint. As we expand the reach of CIM globally, we're looking for a talented Full-Stack Developer with strong UI/UX and server-side skills to take ownership of the platform, ensuring it functions smoothly and looks professional. Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing the Carbon Impact Model platform, developing new features, and maintaining the existing infrastructure. This includes server-side coding (PHP) for database management, subscription models, and security, as well as front-end design to ensure a professional user experience. You'll work on dashboards, charts, and complex regional outputs, balancing technical functionality with a polished, user-friendly interface. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain and enhance the Carbon Impact Model platform with a focus on both front-end (UI/UX) and back-end (PHP) development. * Develop and maintain user account systems, including registration, authentication, and secure user data management. * Ensure seamless functionality of subscription models and user account features, including role-based access control and personalised user experiences. * Develop new features and improve existing ones, including dashboards, subscription models, and region-specific outputs (metric vs imperial). * Optimise server-side performance and security, including database interactions and user management. * Ensure the platform is visually polished with a focus on UI/UX, making it user-friendly and professional. * Create and optimise charts, graphs, and tables using ECharts, Chart.js, and jQuery Sparklines. * Provide support for platform issues and ensure smooth operation across global markets. Skills & Qualifications: * Programming Languages: Proficient in JavaScript and PHP. * We are open to the adoption of other programming languages based on recommendations. * Libraries: Experience with core-js 3.2.1, Select2, jQuery 3.5.1. * Design: Proven experience in UI/UX design, with a portfolio of work demonstrating clean, professional, and user-friendly interfaces. * Charts and Graphs: Strong knowledge of ECharts, Chart.js, and jQuery Sparklines. * Experience with subscription models, data visualisation, and handling large datasets. * Ability to work independently and manage remote workflows. Preferred Experience: * Worked with international platforms and handling region-specific outputs. * Familiarity with carbon footprint or sustainability models is a plus.
