Data Analyst - Pensions - £465 Per Day (Inside IR35) - 6 Month Contract - Hybrid

Overview:

An excellent opportunity has become available with our client, a global financial services firm who are currently undergoing an exciting transformation. We are seeking a talented Data Analyst to offer expertise in data services (including data, interfaces, and report analysis) and to support both client implementations and the day-to-day operations of systems for internal and external clients.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in administering or programming pension calculations.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the improvement and standardisation of processes, tools, and documentation for all deliverables related to "Data."
  • Actively share knowledge to reduce key main risks across Implementations and wider teams to enable self-service with their pension administration product.
  • Collaborate with the core product and development teams to identify and help with delivering cross-departmental improvements for pension administrations products.
  • Collaborate with your team leader to ensure that all implementation services meet the required quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Understand, analyse, and document business requirements; develop working processes based on these requirements, considering existing and potential new systems.
  • Analyse, document, and adhere to Business Requirement Specifications standards.
  • Stay informed about changes in pension legislation that could impact the functionality of our products, systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Identify and recommend areas for improvement in existing systems, processes, and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Detect problems or shortcomings in documentation, propose, and implement solutions.
  • Accurately track working hours using Jira and the Time Recording Engine.
  • Assist business users throughout their User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycle.
  • Actively participate in team and departmental meetings, as well as technical forums.
    Essential Skills & Requirements:
    • At least 2 years of experience in administering or programming pension calculations.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively within set frameworks and deadlines.
    • Must be highly numerate, methodical, and logical, with excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
    • A strong commitment to and enthusiasm for delivering high-quality work within established guidelines.
    • Solid technical knowledge of pensions and relevant legislation.
    • Experience with pensions administration software.
    • Proactively keeps up-to-date with developments and trends in the programming community.

      • Day rate: £425 - £465 per day
      • IR35 status: Inside IR35 via Umbrella
      • Contract length: 6 months
      • Location: Hybrid / London (other locations across the UK available also) (2X per week)
