Join Our Team as a Data Engineer/Architect! Are you passionate about transforming raw data into powerful insights? Do you thrive on improving data quality and efficiency? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Belcan are looking for a Data Engineer/Architect for a 3-month contract initially and the role has been deemed Outside of IR35. Job Purpose As a Data Engineer/Architect, you will be at the forefront of transforming raw data into useful data systems that align with our business goals. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing data quality and efficiency, ensuring that our data efforts are secure by default. Key Responsibilities Analyse and Organize Raw Data: Dive deep into raw data to uncover valuable insights. Create Data Models: Develop data models with clear data flow examples. Build Data Systems and Pipelines: Construct robust data systems and pipelines to streamline data processing. Combine Raw Information: Integrate data from various sources to create a cohesive data environment. Enhance Data Quality and Reliability: Explore innovative ways to improve data quality and reliability. Promote Data Literacy: Ensure data literacy throughout the data lifecycle. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with data reporting analysts, data connection engineers, and business teams to meet business needs. Report on Data Solutions: Provide regular updates on the status and performance of data solutions. Experience and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience: A solid educational foundation in a related field. 4+ Years of Data-Related Work Experience: Proven experience in data engineering or architecture. Professional Data Engineer Certification: A plus, but not mandatory. ERP Data Integrations Experience: Familiarity with Oracle Financials Cloud, FCCS, and Essbase. Proficiency in SQL Server: Skilled in SQL server, stored procedures, and coding. Technical Understanding: Deep knowledge of TCP/IP networks, operating systems, infrastructure, and cloud security. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities to foster successful partnerships between IT and business units. Preferred Experience E4SE Experience: Advantageous but not required.
