BI Developer

A leading HR tech company trusted by over 100,000 businesses globally to simplify HR tasks is looking for a BI Developer to join their vibrant Manchester team. Job Purpose: As a BI Developer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing dashboards and reports, empowering stakeholders with the insights needed for data-driven decision-making. You'll be maintaining and enhancing existing Power BI tools while collaborating closely with the Data Engineering team to refine processes and handle new data requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage Power BI dashboards and reports that support key business decisions. Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, including executives, to gather reporting needs and expectations. Leverage your knowledge of Azure Synapse, SQL Server, and DAX to enrich and optimize data models. Continuously improve existing reports and dashboards with new technology updates. Ensure data integrity and help shape data practices across the company. About You Proven experience with Power BI, SQL Server, and Azure Synapse. Skilled in DAX and SSAS tabular models. Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, gathering clear data requirements. Able to prioritize tasks and manage expectations in a fast-paced, data-reliant environment.
