SQL DBA - Ideally with exposure to Banking Client - Northampton Hybrid - 6 months Skills: * SQL/ NoSQL Database Knowledge: Understanding of SQL databases is essential. * Database Architecture: Familiarity with database design, indexing, and normalization to optimize performance and ensure data integrity. * Installation, Configuration, and Upgrades: Ability to install, configure, and upgrade database servers, as well as troubleshoot issues during installations. * Backup and Recovery: Expertise in database backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and restore processes. * Query Optimization: Proficiency in identifying slow-performing queries and tuning them for better performance. * Data Security: Knowledge of encryption, authentication, authorization, and secure access management for sensitive data. * Normalization/ Denormalization: Proficiency in normalizing databases to reduce redundancy and ensure data integrity, while denormalizing where appropriate for performance gains. * Database Storage Design: Knowledge of how to design tablespaces, partitions, and clustering to improve performance and manage large datasets.
