The Role The QA Engineer will join an agile, cross-functional team focused on delivering robust and reliable software. This role involves both automated and manual testing to maintain the highest standards of quality across all changes. The engineer will be actively involved in the full development lifecycle, employing best practices to identify and resolve issues swiftly. Key Responsibilities * Conduct automated and manual tests, ensuring changes meet high-quality standards. * Collaborate within an Agile Scrum team to align testing efforts with project goals. * Create and execute test plans, develop acceptance criteria, and participate in peer reviews. * Use tools such as Selenium, Postman, and SQL for web and API testing. * Utilize CI/CD methodologies to maintain test environments and improve testing processes. Skills and Experience * Strong experience in software testing, preferably with Java/Spring. * Proficiency with BDD (Cucumber, Gherkin), Selenium, and CI/CD. * Experience in web testing, API testing, and SQL. * Familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum. * Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Desirable Skills * Knowledge of AWS (Lambda, S3, Cloudwatch, DynamoDB), CircleCI, and JavaScript. * Exposure to API performance testing
