GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a hugely successful, international IT company, specialising in assistive technology for blind, partially sighted and dyslexic people located in Worcester. We are recruiting on their behalf for an experienced Web Developer to join their team for a full time, permanent position, located at their Worcester office. The position is working Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week, and can offer a hybrid working week, with the successful candidate given the opportunity to choose 2 days out of 5 to work from home. On offer is a highly competitive salary of up to £45K pending relevant experience, plus excellent company benefits. The ideal candidate for this position will be a skilled developer with an existing portfolio of work, and the ability to maintain a customer facing website, various web-based applications and internal web-based tools. Web Developer main duties: * Maintain website, various web-based applications and internal web-based tools. * Understand user requirements and then design, develop, test and maintain software to suit. Web Developer required skills and experience: * One year experience in a web development role. * Existing portfolio of work to demonstrate skills. * A good understanding of: * Apache on Linux as a server. * MySQL * PHP * HTML * CSS/SCSS * JavaScript * Also desirable is any practical experience or knowledge you have with any other programming languages, analytics software and SEO awareness.
