About Our Client: Our client is a global financial institution that works closely with the Markets businesses and functions, including Compliance, Operational Risk, and Internal Audit. They are committed to providing high-quality financial services to clients while effectively managing risks. As a member of their team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management of operational and compliance risks. ?? The Role: As a Business Analyst, you will report to the Global Markets Control Testing Programme Head within the Markets Governance & Control Team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting the results of control testing, specifically covering Markets Trading and Sales businesses. ???? ?? Key Responsibilities: ? Executing and reporting control testing results ? Supervising and coaching junior team members ? Monitoring testing programme execution and resolving obstacles ? Maintaining high standards and best practises for testing activities ? Providing challenge to stakeholders on control design and effectiveness ? Supporting stakeholders in control remediation efforts ? Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships ? Presenting impactful summary outputs to stakeholders ? Providing Markets controls expertise across all three lines of defence ????? Qualifications and Experience: ? Understanding of Markets business activities and relevant regulations ? Knowledge of Markets Operational and Compliance risks and controls ? Strong understanding of control design assessment techniques ? Experience in Front Office controls testing, internal/external audit, or control consulting ? Track record of coaching and developing team members ? Ability to establish effective senior stakeholder relationships ? Proven experience in providing constructive challenge on risk management matters ?? Education: A bachelor's degree or university education is preferred, but exceptional industry experience with a strong delivery track record will be considered equally important. ???? ??
