This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary of £46,314 per annum and a holiday package of 27 days plus bank holidays. About the Role: As the IT Network Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the school's entire network infrastructure, ensuring it operates efficiently, securely, and meets the needs of both staff and students. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of network systems, alongside leading network-related projects and troubleshooting any issues that arise. This position involves managing a team of IT professionals, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and delivering strategic leadership for IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: * Design, implement, and maintain the school's network infrastructure. * Ensure network systems operate efficiently, securely, and reliably. * Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support. * Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly. * Lead and manage network-related projects from start to completion. * Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices. Requirements: * Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in network administration. * Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). * Proven experience in managing and leading a technical team. * Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering effective IT solutions. * Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
