Kafka Specialist Engineer

Develop 3-5-year streaming software strategies in collaboration with stakeholders. Design and maintain product and platform architecture in line with central governance. Stand up and administer On-Prem Kafka clusters and manage Kafka platform operations. Implement cost-effective and robust deployment patterns for customers. Provide expertise in Kafka components (brokers, zookeepers, Kafka connect, schema registry, etc.). Manage Kafka connectors, including MQ, Elastic Search, JDBC, and more. Participate in design reviews, capacity planning, and work estimation. Ensure high availability, performance, and security of Kafka platforms. Use automation tools like Docker, Jenkins, and GitLab for provisioning and security setups.Key Qualities: Strong technical communication skills with engineers and stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Experience in infrastructure as code and automation-first environments. Understanding of the software development lifecycle and engineering tools.
