Lead Solutions Architect: Azure, Applications, Integration, Data, Insurance
This organisation is a leading Specialist insurer based in the city of London, who are underdergoing a major IT transformation - establisinhing an agile framework and specialised product teams across the business.
You will join a specialised Product team as the Embedded Lead Solutions Architect, embarking on a transformative period, growing their digital platform & product offerings. Reporting into the Chief Architect, you will take ownership for product solution architecture for the underwriting, actuarial & business functions.
This is a transitional environment, so an agile approach to architecture is a necessity. You will have worked in an Azure environment, with deep knowledge in application architecture and Middleware and integrration.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture design for applications, integrations and data solutions that align with business goals and technology strategies.
- Develop and support low-level architecture design for business products
- Develop strong relationships with Data & Analytics, IT and Security and Engineering teams
- Play a leading role in the development of business Architecture Standards and Patterns
- Ensure and maintain Governance standards are adhered to when developing architectural frameworks
Requirements:
- Commercial Insurance or London Markets experience is required
- Experience developing IT architectures across Applications and Data that operate through SaaS
- Demonstratable experience designing & developing Cloud Solution Architecture, preferably Azure
- Ability to work in sprints and adopt an agile approach to architecture design
- Excellent communication, ability to effect change and promote technology solutions across the wider business
