Job Requirements / Description
Oversees the technical aspects of IoT implementation. This includes developing and executing a technical strategy, enabling data collection and processing, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, and providing guidance to the team to ensure project success. How you will contribute You will: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a comprehensive technical strategy for the IoT implementation • Provide technical oversight and guidance throughout the implementation phase, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and project timelines. • Responsible for effective data enablement on the lines • Coordinate seamless integration of the IoT platform with existing systems and devices with internal and external stakeholders • Identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruptions to project progress. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical specifications, configurations, and procedures. • Provide regular progress updates and reports to the Site Security and Automation Lead. • Develop and implement a plan to retire plant legacy systems. Major Challenges • Data enablement and harmonization with existing line processes. Legacy system retirement. What you will bring A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: • Practical experience with programming (PLC, HMI, SCADA,…) • Knowledge of PLC automation standards: Rockwell, Siemens • Proven experience in leading technical teams and driving successful implementation of complex technical projects • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and analytically • Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork, collaboration, and accountability. • Experience in the field of Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics • Manufacturing Execution System (MES) data collection knowledge Work schedule: Full time, on site Contract would be ~12 months
