Senior Software Developer

Are you a Principal / Senior Software Engineer looking to embark on a new challenge? If so we are supporting a globally know sports broadcasting company who are hiring into their engineering team. This is a senior hire for the organisation where you will be at the forefront of their technical strategy, leading the architecture, design, and implementation of their software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. Working in an Agile environment you will be responsible for leading technical projects across multiple domains, driving adoption of best practices in coding, testing and deployment while participating in design reviews, system architecting and adopting best practice. Location: South East London/Kent (hybrid onsite weekly) Ideal skills * 5+ years of software engineering experience, with ideally some previous leadership skills * Proficiency in using .NET based development tools using C#, with a deep understanding of software architecture and design patterns. * Proven ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, manage projects, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. * Microservice architecture experience using tools such as Kubernetes and Docker * Experience writing and maintaining Unit, integration, E2E and regression tests and test suites. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. * 2+ years of experience with AWS utilising tools like Lambda, SNS, SQS and DynamoDB Great salary and package offered.
