Responsibilities within your new role as a Lead Data Consultant * Overseeing the delivery of projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes which align with client objectives. * Engage in planning activities to set project goals, timelines, and deliverables while identifying and mitigating risks. * Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, providing technical expertise and insights during client pitches. * Continuously evaluate and enhance internal processes to improve efficiency and quality in project delivery. * Provide expert-level technical support to resolve complex issues, acting as the go-to person for escalations. * Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering their professional growth and ensuring the team’s technical proficiency. * Maintain and strengthen strategic relationships with key clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and identifying opportunities for further collaboration. * Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data technologies and maintain relevant certifications to ensure best practices are applied in client projects. Your personality, experience and qualifications The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Azure Data Services, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks. You’ll be proficient in designing and implementing ETL processes and have a strong background in large-scale data processing with Hadoop and Spark. Your expertise should extend to statistical analysis and predictive modelling, with advanced skills in data visualisation using Power BI. Additionally, you’ll ideally have experience with Python for data analysis and machine learning, and a proven track record in modelling, building, and managing data warehouses and implementing Lakehouse architectures.
